Bruce Kratt, founder of The Cloud Bread Company™, is a brand innovator with 30 years of sales, marketing, and product development experience in retail and foodservice. Having held leadership roles in both large, international organizations and small, family-owned companies, Bruce saw a gap in the “better for you” lifestyle market and knew he could fill it. Over the years, Bruce has seen a dramatic shift in health and dietary trends, and he knew “cloud bread” – the gluten-free, grain-free, sugar-free, low-to-no-carb “bread” – was the alternative many “better for you” lifestyle consumers were seeking. Just spend a few minutes on Pinterest or Instagram looking for bread alternatives, and you will likely stumble upon cloud bread!
Bruce founded The Cloud Bread Company in 2018 and began developing the first commercially baked Cloudies Cloudbread. With the support of a national retailer, the team at The Cloud Bread Company brought this internet sensation to the masses in November 2020. Enthusiasm about the availability of Cloudies continues to grow, and with it grows Bruce’s excitement about developing the next healthy-lifestyle culinary alternative.
After hours, Bruce enjoys spending time with his wife, Betsy, and their three kids, Dan, Peter, and Victoria. As a family, they enjoy cooking, fishing, traveling throughout Spain, and spending time in Northern Michigan.
