Lorraine Fagela
Lorraine was born in the Philippines and raised in Atlanta, Ga. As an adult, she has lived in Singapore and traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. Her passion for the rich variety of Asian cuisines was cultivated at the markets, street stalls, and restaurants in SE Asia. Now living in Maine, she has attracted a following of adventurous foodies who are interested in making the most of Maine’s celebrated ingredients. As a culinary teacher and ever since she developed allergy to gluten, she has also developed gluten-free recipes including pastries, both savory and sweet. Lorraine launched her Gluten-Free Flour & Mixes, Hand + Heart Gluten Free formerly Lorraine’s Gluten-Free with great success from the community. Dubbing it as the best gluten-free flour in flavor, texture & taste. It was also the winner of Maine's Best Baker award competing against other conventional baked goods.
